Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

In the latest Fantastic Beasts film, Albus Dumbledore meets Gellert Grindelwald in a London restaurant. They discuss their past love and Grindelwald's vendetta against Muggles. Grindelwald threatens to destroy the Muggle world with or without Dumbledore's help and sets the place on fire. Meanwhile, in China, Newt Scamander encounters a Qilin creature. After its mother is killed by Grindelwald's followers, Newt tries to care for the baby Qilin but is captured. He discovers the mother had twins and escapes with the second baby Qilin. Credence Barebone delivers the Qilin to Grindelwald, who performs a dark ritual using its blood to see the future. Queenie Goldstein witnesses this and is horrified. Back in London, Newt and his brother Theseus, with the help of Dumbledore and Aberforth, plan to stop Grindelwald. They form a strategy to confuse him, as Grindelwald can see future events. In the midst of political turmoil, Grindelwald enters a race for Supreme Mugwump. Jacob Kowalski is persuaded by Professor Lally Hicks to join the mission to defeat Grindelwald. The group travels to Berlin but is outnumbered by Grindelwald's followers. Dumbledore informs Newt about Theseus' imprisonment. Credence attempts to use his Obscurial powers on Dumbledore but is subdued. Dumbledore reveals Credence is not his brother but acknowledges his pain. Newt and Theseus rescue prisoners from a deadly prison, and Jacob and Lally thwart an assassination attempt. Grindelwald's bewitched Qilin is defeated, and Santos becomes the new leader. As celebrations ensue, Credence's Obscurial curse starts to kill him. Aberforth offers to bring him home, and Credence accepts. Queenie returns to marry Jacob, and Newt briefly talks to Dumbledore before watching the ceremony from outside.
